Ingredients
- 1 kg mutton
- 1/2 kg tomatoes
- 1 cup oil
- 2 onions chopped
- 12 whole red chilies
- 12 green chilies
- 4 curry leaves
- 2 cardamoms
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp desiccated coconut
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt fennel
Cooking Method

Place mutton in a deep wok or pot.

Add ginger garlic paste, pepper and salt.

Cook on low flame for 1-1/2 hours or until meat is tender.

Now heat oil in a pan or Karahi.

Fry chopped onion for 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Add curry leaves, cumin seeds, turmeric, fennel seeds, bay leaves, salt and whole red chilies.

Stir well.

Now add boiled meat with chopped tomatoes.

Cook well until all water dries up.

Add green chilies and coconut and simmer for 10 minutes.

Andhra Mutton Karahi is ready now.
