Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts cut into strips
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 2 onions thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 tomato remove seeds & cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 green chilies thinly sliced
- 1 tsp cumin seeds roasted & ground
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
Cooking Method

Heat oil on a griddle or tawa.

Fry onions for 5-6 minutes or until light golden.

Now add chicken strips and cook for 5 minutes or until no longer pink.

Then add red chili powder, salt, coriander powder, cumin, white pepper, dry mango powder, tomato paste and ketchup.

Stir frequently.

Cook for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is tender.

Then add green bell pepper, tomato cubes and green chilies.

Stir fry for 2 minutes.

Then remove from the heat.

Take it out in a serving dish.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Tawa Chicken Bharta is ready to serve.
