An authentic Pakistani yogurt dip with tomato, curry leaves, green chilies and mustard seeds to cool down curries. Very easy and quick Tomato Raita Recipe by Rida Aftab. It will be ready in just 10 minutes. Do try it!

Ingredients
  • 250 gm yogurt
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 4 green chilies chopped
  • 4 curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp crushed pepper
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat.
  2. Fry chopped garlic and curry leaves for 2 minutes or until its start crackling.
  3. When the aroma arises add tomatoes, green chilies, salt, mustard seeds and crushed pepper.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Remove from the heat.
  6. Beat yogurt in a bowl.
  7. Add tomato mixture in the yogurt.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Tomato Raita is ready to serve. Enjoy!
Serving Suggestions

Serve with paratha, biryani or any curry.
