Ingredients
  • 1 cup coconut milk powder
  • 1 cup regular milk
  • 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 cup water
For Batter:
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Water to make batter
Cooking Method
To Make the Batter:
  1. Combine together corn flour, flour, baking powder in a bowl
  2. Make into thick batter with water as required.
  3. To Make the Coconut Custard Squares:
  4. Place coconut milk, hot water, milk, sugar, cornflour and green cardamom powder in a pan.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Stirring constantly and cook for 8-10 minutes or until thick.
  7. Greased a dish.
  8. Pour this batter in a greased dish.
  9. Leave it for 1 hour or until set.
  10. Cut into squares.
  11. Heat oil in a pan or deep skillet.
  12. Deep fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden.
  13. Roll immediately in coconut.
  14. Coconut Custard Squares are ready to serve.
  15. Enjoy!
