Ingredients
- ½ kg Mutton
- 300 gm Rice
- 4 – 5 Green chilies
- 2 Onion
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 6 Star anise
- 100 gm Plum
- 2 tbsp Fennel seeds
- 2 tbsp Coriander seeds
- Mix whole spices as required
- 1 tbsp Turmeric
- 1 small packet Saffron
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup Ghee
- Muslin cloth as required
- 1-½ – 2 glass Water
Cooking Method

Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.

Add chopped garlic and onion.

Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

Then add mutton, fry well for 5-10 minutes or until meat changed its color.

Now make a spice bag with coriander seeds and fennel seeds.

Add to the pan with turmeric, salt and mix whole spices as required.

Cook well for 2 minutes.

Now add 2 glasses of water, cover and cook for 3-40 minutes or until meat is tender.

Add 300 gm soaked rice and 4 – 5 green chilies.

Cook till rice starts coming on top. Lastly add 100 gm dry plums, 1 small packet of saffron and mix well.

Simmer on low flame for 8 – 10 minutes or until done.

Dish it out.
