This Homemade Chaat Masala Recipe by Shireen Anwar takes only 5 minutes to prepare chaat masala at home with simple ingredients and is made off cumin seeds, cinnamon powder, khatai powder, ginger powder and salt. With a unique blend of spicy, salt and sour flavours just a dash of chaat masala is enough to add a pepper twist to all kinds of chaats and savoury snacks.

Ingredients
- 15 Button red chilies roasted
- 2 inch Cinnamon stick roasted
- 2 tbsp Cumin seeds roasted
- ½ tsp Ajwain roasted
- 2 tbsp Coriander seeds roasted
- 1 tbsp Whole black pepper roasted
- 1 tbsp Black salt
- 1 tsp Ginger powder heaved
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Khatai powder heaped
- 1 tsp Lemon salt
Cooking Method

In a fry pan dry roast button red chilies cinnamon, cumin seeds

Add ajwain, coriander seeds and whole black pepper all separately.

Turn the flame off and let it cool.

Now grind all spices in fine powder.

Mix with black salt, ginger powder, salt, Khatai powder and lemon salt.

Mix well.

Transfer into an air tight jar or bottle.

Label and preserve for later use.
