Ingredients
- 250 gm Prawns cleaned
- ½ tsp + ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp + ½ tsp White pepper
- 1 Egg white
- 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp Corn flour
- 2 tbsp + ¼ cup Oil
- 1 tbsp Chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 4 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 cup Stock
- 1 Onion cut into thick slices
- 2 Spring onions cut in 1 inch pieces
- 12 Red chili whole
- 1 Capsicum cut into 16 pieces
Cooking Method

Marinate prawns with salt, pepper, egg white, corn flour and 2 tbsp oil.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Deep fry prawns for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

Now heat oil in a wok add crushed garlic.

Fry for 2 minutes then add onion, capsicum and whole red chilies.

Season with salt and white pepper.

Add stock and fried prawns.

Cook for 2 minutes then add corn flour paste to thickened the sauce.

Cook another 2 minutes then turn the flame off.

Take it out in a serving dish.

Delicious Kongpao Prawns are ready to serve.
