A delicious Pakistani style Lajawab Bhindi Recipe By Shireen Anwar, in which Fried Okra (bhindi) is tossed with a spicy tomato and yogurt based curry. This is really a simple bhindi fry recipe that you can make at home. Give it a shot and let us know how it all turned out.
- ½ kg Bhindi remove top and tail
- 1 tsp White cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Yogurt
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp Khatai powder
- 1 tsp coriander seeds crushed
- 1 tsp cumin seeds crushed
- 2 Tomatoes blended
- ¼ cup Oil

In a frying pan, fry bhindis for 5 minutes or until crisp.

Remove from the oil and keep aside.

Now heat oil add cumin seeds with blended tomatoes, all the seasonings.

Cook and stir until oil comes on top.

Now add yogurt and fried bhnidi.

Cover and leave it on dum for 5 minutes.

Delicious Lajwab Bhindi is ready to serve.
Serve hot with Puri Paratha.
