Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium heat. Saute ginger-garlic paste in it.
Now add chicken pieces to it and saute for 10-12 minutes or until they are tender.
Add tomato paste, red chilli, cumin powder, salt and butter. Cook for 3-4 minutes then add fresh cream.
Cook the chicken on slow flame, until it’s done and all the water dries up.
Dish it out and garnish with coriander and ginger. Delicious Butter Chicken is ready to serve.
If you want to thicken cream, just add two or three drops of lemon juice while beating it.
Serve hot with butter naan or chapatti.
