Melt butter in a pot or pan and sauté ginger and garlic paste in it.
When it changes color , add chicken and sauté until all the juices run clear .
Also add water and cook on low flame for 30 minutes or until water dries up and sauce is thickened.
Serve with boiled rice or chapati.
