  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 tbsp Red chili paste
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Refined Flour
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Oil for frying
For Sauces:
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 3-4 red chilies long
  • 1 Onions cut in length
  • 1 Capsicum cut in length
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic crushed
  • 1 tbsp red chili paste
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 8-10 Cashew
  • 4 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
Cooking Method
  1. In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornflour, refined flour, soy sauce, red chili paste, egg, ginger garlic paste and salt. Mix well to coat evenly. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ketchup, sugar, red chili paste and ginger, garlic paste. Add a little water (if needed) to get a sauce-like consistency.
  3. Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through on all sides. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add the bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until softened and slightly crisp.
  5. Pour in the prepared sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the fried chicken and stir gently to coat everything in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with toasted cashews, chopped green chili (if using), and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
  7. Delicious Dragon Chicken is ready to serve.
