Ingredients
  • 1 cup green peas matar, boiled
  • 1/2 cup cream malai
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp ground cashew nuts
  • 2 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp all spice
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Fry chopped onion for 5 minutes or until its turn soft.
  3. Add salt, red chili powder, white pepper, sugar, all spice, dry fenugreek leaves and fresh cream(malai).
  4. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes or until oil comes out on top.
  5. Add boiled peas, cashew nut paste.
  6. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Lastly add milk and cook for 5 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  8. Methi Malai Matar is ready now.
Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with puri paratha.
