Ingredients
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 4 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp Onion seeds
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • sesame seeds as required
Cooking Method
  1. In a mixing bowl, mix together the Flour, Yogurt, Baking powder, Onion seeds, salt, Sugar,, Egg and Oil.
  2. Knead dough with Luke warm water as required.
  3. Form into a soft dough.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until double in size.
  5. Make small balls of the dough.
  6. Roll into oval shape naan.
  7. Brush with oil.
  8. keep in a grease tray, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  9. Covered and let it rise for another hour.
  10. Now bake on 200 degree C in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
  11. Brush with butter, sprinkle little water.
  12. Cover immediately in foil till ready to be served
  13. You can also make naan on tawa with 1 tbsp butter.
  14. Delicious Naan is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with Butter Chicken or any curry.
