This restaurant style Tawa Chicken Fry Recipe by Rida Aftab, is simple to make in which chicken is cooked on stove top by marinating the chicken leg pieces with some spices. Serve with naan and fresh salad.

Ingredients
  • 4 Chicken tikka leg pieces
  • 50 gm Butter
  • ½ cup Oil
  • 2 Onions
  • 6 Green chilies
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Cream
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp All spice powder
  • Fresh coriander as required
Cooking Method
  1. Make cuts on chicken tikka pieces and apply butter.
  2. Then fry them well.
  3. Now heat oil in a tawa pan and fry ginger garlic.
  4. Then add chicken tikka pieces, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, all spice powder, onions and tomatoes along with ½ cup water.
  5. Cover and cook until the chicken is tender and nicely browned.
  6. Sprinkle green chilies, lemon juice, cream and fresh coriander.
  7. Delicious Tawa Chicken is ready to serve.

Serve hot with naan and salad.
