Ingredients
  • 2-1/2 cups plain flour
  • 4 tbsp yogurt whipped
  • 2 tbsp ghee melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1-1/2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt1 tsp garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tsp onion seeds
  • Melted ghee for brushing
Cooking Method
  1. Preheat oven to 230 degree C.
  2. Place a baking tray tray in the oven to heat.
  3. In a large bowl, sieve together flour and salt.
  4. Add yeast, yogurt, melted ghee, garlic, onion seeds and coriander.
  5. Knead a soft dough with water.
  6. Make 3 equal balls out of the dough.
  7. Cover with oiled plastic and leave it to rise for 10 minutes.
  8. Roll each ball into a tear drop shape 10 inches long.
  9. Place naan on the hot baking tray.
  10. Bake for 5 minutes or until top slightly brown.
  11. Now brush with melted butter or ghee.
  12. Keep warm.
  13. Garlic Naan is ready now.
Serving Suggestions

Serve with Butter Chicken.
