Bakar Khaani Rotti is a unique and traditional Bread from Bangladesh, in which rotti is coated with sesame seeds and dough is kneaded with warm Milk. Baking gives this Bakar Khaani Rotti a special taste and aroma, which are heightened by brushing it with melted butter before serving. Serve it with any curry of your choice during parties or for a fun family dinner. Give it a try!

Ingredients
- 500 gm Flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 cup Ghee
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- Sesame seeds as required
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Water
- 1 Egg beaten
Cooking Method

In a pan, add milk and water and heat up until it is lukewarm.

Remove from the heat and keep aside.

In a bowl, combine together the flour, baking powder, ghee, sugar and baking powder.

Now knead to dough with lukewarm milk mixture.

Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.

Make 3 balls with the dough.

Roll each ball and spread a little ghee on top of each roti.

Put one side on the other and make it in shape of square, again make it into ball.

Roll each ball, put other roti on top of one.

Similarly top with the third roti.

Brush top with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Lastly bake in a preheated oven or cook in a frying pan.

Transfer into a serving platter.

Bakar Khaani Rotti is ready to serve.
