Let’s dive into the step-by-step guide to create this classic treat in your own kitchen.

How to Make Bread Rolls: Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Potato & Chicken Filling: Boil ½ kg of potatoes until tender. Peel and thoroughly mash them. In a pan, add 250 gm of chicken mince and salt to taste. Cook the mince until all the water evaporates and the chicken is fully cooked.
  2. Combine Bread and Chicken: Add 1 slice of bread to the cooked chicken mince. Finely chop the bread and mix it well with the mince.
  3. Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, chicken-bread mixture, 2 tbsp of soya sauce, 1 tsp of crushed black pepper, 6 chopped green chilies, 1 bunch of chopped green coriander, and 1 packet of cottage cheese. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Shape and Coat The Rolls: Take portions of the mixture and shape them into rolls. In a bowl, whisk 2 egg whites. In another bowl, place 1 packet of bread crumbs. Dip each roll first into the egg white, then roll it in the bread crumbs, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Fry the Rolls: Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the bread rolls until they turn golden brown. Remove and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Serve the hot bread rolls with tomato ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
