Ingredients
  • 250 gm Unsalted butter
  • 250 gm Caster sugar
  • 4 – 5 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 250 gm Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 79 ml Milk
Cooking Method
  1. Beat the butter and add sugar, salt and vanilla.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time.
  3. Sift in the flour and baking powder alternating with the milk and do not over mix.
  4. Pour batter in a greased and lined Tin.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees C for 35 – 40 minutes, until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Rotate the pan once halfway through the baking time.
  7. Let cool on wire rack.
  8. Butter Cake is ready to serve.
