Ingredients
- ½ kg Chicken boneless cut into slices
- 100 gm Rice soaked in water
- 100 gm Yellow lentils soaked in water
- 1 small bunch Spinach
- Salt to taste
- 1 Onion
- 1 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Whole cumin seeds
- ½ tsp All spice powder
- 250 gm Yogurt
- ¼ cup Oil
Cooking Method

Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.

Add onion and sauté for few minutes or until golden brown.

Then add ginger garlic paste and sliced chicken.

Fry well for 5-7 minutes or until meat changed its color.

Now add soaked yellow lentils and rice, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and yogurt.

Fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.

Then add salt and 2 cups of water.

Cover and cook on low flame for 15 – 20 minutes until lentil and rice are tender.

Now add 1 bunch of chopped spinach, simmer on low flame for 2 –3 minutes.

Dish it out.

Delicious Chicken Shola is ready to serve.
