This Dal ki Kachori Recipe by Shireen Anwar is crispy patty stuffed with a spicy mixture of grounded dals sautéed with spices. It is popular Iftar snack. Goes great with chutney !

Ingredients
For Dough:
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 tbsp Clarified Butter
- Salt to taste
For Filling:
- 1 cup Boiled Gram Lentil chany ki daal
- 1 tbsp roasted Cumin zeera
- 5-6 whole red chilies
- Salt to taste
- Oil for fry frying
Cooking Method
To Make the Dough:

In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups flours, 2 tbsp clarified butter and some salt.

Mix well and knead a soft dough.

Keep aside.
To Make the Filling:

In a chopper, add boiled gram lentil, roasted cumin, whole red chilies and some salt.

Process until well combined.
To Prepare the Dal Kachori:

Make small balls of the dough.

Fill with grinded gram lentil and leave it for some time.

Roll them and deep fry on the low flame for 12-15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.

Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.

Dal ki Kachori is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions
