How To Prepare Dragon Chicken
Prep the Chicken: In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with corn flour, refined flour, soy sauce, red chili paste, egg, ginger garlic paste and salt. Mix well to coat evenly. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Prepare the Sauce: In another bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ketchup, sugar, red chili paste and ginger, garlic paste. Add a little water (if needed) to get a sauce-like consistency.
Heat the Wok: Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through on all sides. Remove from the wok and set aside.
Sizzle the Veggies: In the same wok, add the bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until softened and slightly crisp.
Drizzle in Dragon Sauce: Pour in the prepared sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the fried chicken and stir gently to coat everything in the sauce.
