Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 7 ounce butter
- 8 ounce fresh cream whipped
- 1 ounce icing sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- few drops pineapple essence
- 2 tbsp milk
- pineapple tidbits as required
Cooking Method

Sift flour into a bowl.

Add butter, icing sugar, egg yolk and milk.

Mix well and form into a soft dough.

Cover with a wet cloth.

Leave it for 30 minutes.

Divide mixture evenly into 8 balls.

Roll out each piece to 8 cm circle.

Pinch decorative with floured finger.

Place short cake on lightly greased baking tray.

Bake for 20 minutes or until pale golden.

Beat fresh cream until thick.

Stir in pineapple essence and icing sugar.
