Ingredients
- 500 gm beef (under Cut)
- 1 cup oil
- 4 tbsp gram lentils
- 4 clove garlic
- 2 onion
- 2 boiled potatoes
- 50 gm ginger
- 4 green chillies
- 1/2 bunch fresh coriander leaves
- 1/2 bunch mint leaves
- 2 eggs
- 10 whole red chilli
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp whole All Spices
Cooking Method

Put beef in a large pot.

Add whole chillies, coriander seeds, garlic, all spices, ginger, salt, and 1 onion.

Pour 2 glass of water int it.

Cover the pot with a lid and cook for 40 minutes.

When meat tender, add lentils.

Cover again and cook 30 minutes longer or until all water dries up.

Chop beef mixture in the grinder.

Take it out in a mixing bowl.

Add potatoes, egg,chopped onion, green chillies, coriander and mint leaves.

Mix well and shape into kababs.

Shallow fry kababs until golden brown.

Shami Kabab is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions
Serve hot with mint chutney.
