Ingredients
  • 1- 1/2 cups Rice
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 1 Broccoli cut in florets
  • 1 Onion cut in thick slices
  • 2 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 Chicken breasts thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Corn flour
  • s 2 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 3-4 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 cup Basil chopped
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 bunch Fresh Coriander
Cooking Method
  1. Boil the rice with salt and drain and set aside.
  2. Blanch the broccoli in salty hot water for very few minutes and set aside.
  3. Add salt and corn flour to the chicken pieces.
  4. Boil the chicken for 4 minutes. Strain and set the chicken aside.
  5. Beat the eggs with ½ tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp soya sauce and ¼ tsp salt.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon oil and 1 teaspoon sesame oil in a wok.
  7. Add the garlic, broccoli and onions and sauté add eggs and quickly fry them.
  8. Next, fry the chicken pieces for just a couple of minutes to brown them, adding a bit more oil to the pan if needed.
  9. Add more oil if needed and then stir fry the rice.
  10. Mix everything well and add the basil and coriander leaves and lemon juice.
  11. Delicious Thai Basil Rice is ready to serve.
  12. Serve immediately.
