Ingredients
250gm Prawns
1Egg
2Green chilies finely chopped
1CupStock
1/2CupKetchup
1tspSugar
1tbspSoy sauce
1tbspheaped Flour
1tbspChili sauce
1/2tspSalt
1/2tspWhite pepper
2tbspVinegar
2tbspWater
2tbspSpring onion leaves finely chopped
2tbspGarlic crushed
3tbspCorn flour
1/4cupoil
oil for frying
Cooking Method
Marinate prawns with salt, white pepper, soy sauce, corn flour, flour and egg.
Mix well.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Deep fry prawns for 5 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oil and keep aside.
To Make the Sauce:
Heat 1/4 cup oil over medium heat.
Add crushed garlic, green chilies with 1/2 tsp salt, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, chili sauce and stock.
Bring to a boil and add corn flour paste.
Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
Add fried prawns, garnish with spring onion leaves.
